Purpose + Mission

Safety glass is our area of expertise, and now,
“safety” has taken on a whole new meaning

We’re the minds behind the methods

and this is our passion project

After 20+ years in the safety glass industry, while bearing witness to the heart-wrenching problems surrounding violence in our schools, we decided to step up to the plate and take action. Our team has worked tirelessly, for years, on countless prototypes, to give our teachers, students, and staff members the gift of time, and the best chance of survival, should the unthinkable happen.

Raymond Lefavor

Co-Founder & CEO

Raymond is a designer and product developer. He has a passion for problem-solving and innovation. He is also the owner of Ballistic Vision Safety Glass. BVSG has manufactured and sold tens of thousands of laminated, multi -layered, ballistic safety windows for the machine tool industry since 1999. His wife is a Curriculum Director at a public school. Raymond saw a desperate need for safer classrooms, & applied his 25 years of ballistic impact knowledge to design revolutionary, bullet-proof classroom door kits and windows at a fraction of the cost of the old door technology that is currently available. These new designs will transform ordinary, vulnerable classrooms into Level-7 forced entry safe rooms giving school personnel desperately needed tools to keep every child and staff member in the building safe.

Raymond lives in Northern Minnesota with his wife Rachel, a chihuahua, two dachshunds and a overweight cat that hasn’t caught a mouse in a decade.

Rich Lefavor

Rich is an experienced advocate for safety and a detail-oriented process improvement professional. He is passionate about innovation and a proponent for positive change. Motivated by several operator deaths in the machine tool industry, Rich and his brother, Raymond, founded Ballistic Vision Safety Glass (BVSG) due to the unique ballistic qualities of their safety glass design.

After the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, BVSG decided to devote part of their operations focus to creating an impenetrable window and door wrap for classroom safety.

Being a father, Rich felt it was essential to protect all children in schools.
Rich lives in West Central, Florida with his fiancé, Stef. You can usually find them on weekend adventures or enjoying quality time with their kids.
